Hexacup, France's biggest amateur football tournament, powered by IFC

National final at Clairefontaine.
Hexacup runs amateur 5-a-side and 7-a-side football leagues, city by city. Players create their team, play freely and climb the local standings, then the best meet on the pitch in the play-offs. Behind the app, IFC powers the entire technical side, white-labeled.

The challenge
Getting thousands of amateurs to play, across dozens of cities, with no fixed schedule: that's Hexacup's promise, "play whenever you want, for free." But keeping that promise at scale takes a real platform: managing teams, recording matches, keeping live standings per city, matching local opponents, and funneling the best teams into the finals.
Building and maintaining that technology, season after season, would have required a full-time product team, far from Hexacup's core business: events and community.

The solution: a white-label app powered by IFC
Hexacup relies on IFC for the entire software side, under its own brand. Players see Hexacup; under the hood, it's IFC's infrastructure running the show:
- Teams & rosters: club creation, invitations, roles.
- Free matches: score entry, validated by both sides.
- City leagues: a continuous per-community ranking, updated in real time.
- Path to the play-offs: the best teams rise automatically toward the finals organized by Hexacup.

Left to right: city community, community feed, city standings, team page.
Splitting the roles
The collaboration rests on a clean split: each on their home turf.
| IFC, the tech | Hexacup, the field |
|---|---|
| White-label application | Running the play-offs |
| Teams, matches, standings | Venue rental & logistics |
| City leagues, in real time | Finding sponsors & partners |
| Maintenance & product evolution | Animating the community |
IFC provides and evolves the platform; Hexacup turns online play into a real-world event: finals on rented pitches, partners (such as the Kinder Joy of Moving Challenge), and a community of players and fans it animates every day.
The Hexacup model. Playing stays 100% free for players. Hexacup funds itself through partnerships (national communication campaigns aimed at 10 to 25 year olds, CSR commitments, sponsoring) and asks in return for a civic or ecological commitment: every player completes at least one engaged action per year to stay qualified. With IFC handling the tech, Hexacup keeps its hands free to build that model.

The results
Over its latest activity windows, Hexacup shows:
| 5,700+ | 1,000+ | 30 |
|---|---|---|
| players (30 d) | teams (90 d) | active cities |
Growth driven by a simple principle: Hexacup focuses on what makes its brand (the experience, the events, the community) while IFC carries the technical load.

Your turn?
You organize competitions and want your own application, without building the technology? That's exactly what IFC enables.
