Divisions & standings

The League ranks teams in divisions. The Full standings page (link at the bottom of the hub) shows every division of the season, from top to bottom.

Points​

Every team starts at 1500 points. Points evolve match after match under an Elo-style system:

  • beating a higher-ranked team earns a lot;
  • beating a lower-ranked team earns little;
  • a draw makes both teams converge slightly.

The exact stakes of each outcome are announced before the match in the "Points breakdown" panel of the match page.

Promotions and relegations​

In each division, arrows mark the movement zones:

  • ▲ at the top: teams moving up to the higher division;
  • ▼ at the bottom: teams moving down.

The rollover happens every Monday: promotions and relegations are applied and a new week begins.

Placement​

New teams first play placement matches before appearing in the standings: sign up a few nights in a row to join a division.
